めちゃかわいい – this means ‘very cute’ and it’s exactly what this post is about. Japan is definitely the land of cute and
throughout my time here I have met some really, really kind people. Especially the students who I see everyday at work who are so friendly – making my job so much more fun! Sure, there are bad days, everyone has them but the friendly students always put a smile on my face.
Unlike the UK where the school term is usually August-June, the Japanese term is April-March so some of my students have ‘graduated’ this month and are off to uni, college or work. I wish them luck in whatever they do and hope it goes well.
One of my classes gave me this very sweet card to say thanks for going to their English classes. One of the nicest things I’ve ever been given and so thoughtful! One, two, three… AWWW!!!
Yeah… Really, really cute!
Also, a while back Gavin and I were sent new years cards from the students we made a Christmas party for. These are also super cute;
It’s nice to get cute little gifts like that and they will be always be nice reminders of my time spent in Japan. 🙂
I’ll update again soon with more pictures and goss’ with what I’ve been up to. Next week I have the spring vacation and I’m off to Disneyland so expect to see lots of Mickey Mouse pictures!
Missing everyone back home xxx
